Dr. Sonam Vaishnani is a board-certified optometrist with a focus on corrective glasses and contacts, ocular disease management, and surgical co-management. She graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health followed by a Master’s in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2024. During her clinical training, Dr. Vaishnani completed externships at the Eye Care Institute at NSU, Eye Centers of South Florida, and Correct Vision Laser, earning honors for her performance.
Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Vaishnani was involved in leadership and professional organizations, including the Private Practice Organization, the American Optometric Student Association, and the Ocular Disease Club, where she also served on the board.
Dr. Vaishnani is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. She is also fluent in Gujarati.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Vaishnani enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, and exploring new restaurants.
