She graduated early from The College of New Jersey, magna cum laude, with a degree in Biology. In New York City, she earned her doctorate from the SUNY College of Optometry with honors and was the recurrent recipient of the Adolph & Ruth Schnurmacher Scholarship, which is awarded to students with the highest academic grade-point-averages per class. Her clinical training included externships at West Point Military Academy and Lyons VA hospital. Outside of her practice, she enjoys cooking, knitting, reading, and spending time with her husband and gremlins children.
