Ambulatory Surgical Center

The Campus Eye Group Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) is located next door to Campus Eye Group, in our Mercer County, NJ office. This free-standing ambulatory surgery center is Medicare-certified and AAAHC-accredited, which is an endorsement of the highest quality of care for outpatient surgery centers for surgeons of all kinds.

Our surgery center has been designed to make our New Jersey and Pennsylvania LASIK and other eye surgery patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Medicare-certified by the Department of Health and Human Services, it is the only one of its kind in the area, offering the most sophisticated laser and computerized equipment in the region.

Excimer, Femtosecond, Argon, SLT, and YAG lasers are used in treating macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. These state-of-the-art devices seal leaking blood vessels that can obstruct vision and relieve pressure on the eye that causes nerve damage. YAG lasers clear away the cloudy membrane that sometimes develops following cataract surgery. Best of all, these procedures take only a few minutes and are painless.

Your Most Comfortable Eye Appointment Ever

Refreshments are served to our patients and their families as they watch instructional videos on post-operative care and other topics of interest in eye health or their specific procedure. The average stay at our center is two to three hours for laser or surgical eye care.

Outstanding Vision Care Provided by our Eye Doctors at Campus Eye Group

Among the types of eye surgery performed are LASIK and PRK laser vision correction, cataract surgery, lens implants, corneal transplants, glaucoma treatments, retinal procedures, diabetic therapies, and eye muscle and eyelid plastic surgery procedures. This wide range of outpatient procedures means not only greater convenience for you, but greater savings by making costly hospital stays unnecessary.

Our Accreditation

One of the most important things we do to earn your trust is to participate voluntarily in the quality assessment program of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

The AAAHC is a leader in ambulatory health care accreditation and serves as an advocate for the provision and documentation of high-quality health services in ambulatory healthcare organizations. This is accomplished through the development of standards and through its survey and accreditation programs.

Accreditation by the AAAHC demands a high level of commitment and effort. It challenges us always to find better ways to serve you. It reminds us constantly that our first and most important responsibility is to see that you receive the best care we can possibly provide.

Our accreditation gives you that extra measure of confidence you want in your health services. It’s one more way for us to say, we put our patients first.

Participation in AAAHC’s accreditation program is voluntary. Organizations who meet AAAHC standards publicly demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and a deep concern for those they serve.
