See Clearly, Live Fully

With Advanced Cataract Surgery at Campus Eye Group

Are You Experiencing Symptoms of Cataracts?

Take the Cataract Self-Test to find out if cataract surgery is right for you.

What are Cataracts?

Cataracts happen when proteins in the eye’s natural lens start to break down and clump together. This causes vision to become cloudy over time. Colors may seem less vibrant, details can fade, and it might feel like you are looking through a window that is always a bit dirty. Some common symptoms of cataracts are:

Blurry or cloudy vision
Seeing halos, streaks, or glare around lights
Needing to change your glasses or contact lens prescription often
Increased sensitivity to light
Double vision
Colors may look dull, faded, or yellowed
Difficulty seeing at night, especially when driving or reading

What to Expect During Cataract Surgery at Campus Eye Group

At Campus Eye Group, cataract surgery is now faster, safer, and more effective than ever. We offer both traditional cataract surgery, a trusted procedure performed on millions of U.S. patients every year, and laser cataract surgery, which can provide the same benefits with greater precision, more predictable results, and better vision after surgery.

In just 10 to 15 minutes, your cataract surgeon creates a tiny opening in your cornea and places a clear intraocular lens (IOL) of your choice. Once you have healed, you can look forward to seeing the world with sharper, brighter clarity than you have in years.

Advanced Technology IOL Options

Cataract surgery replaces your clouded natural lens with a clear intraocular lens, or IOL. These lenses are tailored to your vision needs, much like choosing the perfect prescription for your glasses or contacts.

Standard monofocal IOLs sharpen your sight at one distance, correcting either nearsightedness or farsightedness. For those seeking greater freedom from glasses, our advanced premium IOLs can restore your vision and reduce your dependence on visual aids. At Campus Eye Group, we offer a comprehensive selection of premium IOLs:

Multifocal/Trifocal IOLs

A multifocal lens can reduce or eliminate your need for glasses or contacts after cataract surgery. These advanced lenses provide excellent near, intermediate, and distance vision, allowing greater independence from glasses and contacts.

Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) IOLs

Extended depth of focus IOLs provide a broader range of vision than standard monofocal IOLs while reducing the visual disturbances commonly associated with multifocal lenses. Patients can expect to enjoy excellent distance and intermediate vision, as well as functional near vision, with smooth transitions between focusing powers.

Toric IOLs

If you have astigmatism, a toric IOL could be your key to sharper, clearer vision after cataract surgery. This advanced lens is designed to correct astigmatism and enhance your sight.

During your pre-operative consultation, your eye doctor will discuss the available options at our practice and help you select the best IOL for your budget, vision requirements, and personal goals.
