About Sze Wong, M.D.
Dr. Sze Wong is a glaucoma and cataract specialist educated and trained at the finest institutions in the country. He is specialized in the latest laser procedures including cataract surgery, micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (iStent, Cypass, XEN gel stent, Kahook dual blade), glaucoma tube shunt placement and trabeculectomy.
He has presented and published research on glaucoma surgical techniques in various national meetings and opthalmology journals.
He completed his glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai
He completed his ophthalmology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was chosen by the faculty to serve as Chief Resident
He received his M.D. with honors at New York University School of Medicine – Graduated from Yale University with a major in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemstry
He has consistently ranked within the top 10% nationwide in Ophthalmolic Knowledge Assessment Program examinations
He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese fluently.
