About Osama Khoury O.D.
Dr. Khoury graduated from Damascus Medical School and was fortunate to be one of only a few graduates to complete a four year Ophthalmology residency program at the Damascus Eye Surgical Hospital. After serving for 8 years as the Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Al Wajh (Saudi Arabia) General Hospital, Dr. Khoury moved to Miami and participated in research programs at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Khoury continued his education in the United States at Aran Eye Associates, where he worked until passing the National Board of Medical Examiners examinations in Optometry. Today, he is a Board Certified Optometrist in both New Jersey and Idaho.
Born and raised in Syria, Dr. Khoury speaks Arabic, is a member of the American Optometric Association, and enjoys helping his patients reap the benefits of the latest technology and best practices in eye care. In his spare time, Dr. Khoury enjoys swimming and biking.
